First of all, the spring break wasn't long enough for me to visit my family, but I had so much fun during it. My friends and I were planning to travel outside of California, since it started, but we couldn't at first. Instead we went to the theater and watched the movie called The Divergent. The movie was brilliant, and we all liked it, and I am planning on reading the book. We also went to someplace called Sky Zone, it was a trampoline park. We had a blast there and we were also exhausted, so we didn't only play, but also exercised.
In the last five days of the break, my friend and I decided to leave California and go to Arizona to visit Grand Canyon and Tempe. I also had some friends there that I know them since I were in Kuwait. We used two cars to there because our number was huge. The trip took us 6 hours and a half, and we arrived at Tempe in mid night then rushed to sleep. The first thing we did was visiting Arizona science center, and it was good. The second thing we did was going to trampoline park and ice skating rink one after another. The day after we went to Grand Canyon, and it was a new experience for me. We reached the highest point, and took some awesome photos. Then we had to come back to California for the ALP.
I have noticed that traveling from one state to other in America is like traveling from one country to other. The people in Arizona seemed different and the structure of buildings as well. Arizona State University had a huge campus, and the transportation there was so great.

Its true we didn't have enough time to go to visit our family. Besides my children were in the school during our vacations so it was very difficult to do something special.
ReplyDeleteAt least you could visit some friends in Arizona. I hope you had a good time with them.

ReplyDeleteNice observation about each state being like a different country. I agree with you. Things are very different in the South and the East Coast as well.
